This is a combination of lecture-style multimedia presentation with group discussion. Course includes an emphasis on common myths and misconceptions of tornados and extreme storms. The material is customized to the response procedures of the building.

You Need Tornado Training

Many people in Canada, and across the prairies especially, have a well-deserved fear of extreme storms. After the deadly tornado in Edmonton (1987) and the F5 tornado in Elie (2007), occupants, tenants, and staff want to know what they should do if a tornado warning is issue in their area.
